With so many games every single year in baseball, there are bound to be a few memorable moments that cause a lot of people to laugh. These bloopers live on in video clips and in stories told by those who were there. It is hard to narrow down all the bloopers to just 3, but here are some of the most

Randy Johnson Hits A Bird

This is technically considered a blooper, but it is probably the most impressive feat you will see under that label. It is also the only blooper to cause a death, as the bird would not survive a fastball from the future Hall of Famer. Not only is it extremely unlikely for a bird to be in the path of a pitch
at just the right time, but to do so against one of the hardest throwing pitchers in the game makes this an iconic blooper in baseball history.


Jose Canseco’s Header

These days, Jose Canseco is known for all of his performance-enhancing drugs that he injected in his body. However, early on in his career, he was known as one of the most talented all-around players in the game. He was also known for taking a baseball off the head in the outfield, allowing it to bounce over the fence for home run. He was in a terrible outfielder, but when this is the only play people remember you making, you aren't exactly going to get a very good reputation. Even if he was a standout in fantasy baseball leagues, he won’t be able to live this down.


Manny Ramirez, The Cut Off Man

Realistically, Ramirez could have a blooper reel to himself. However, one of the most puzzling things he ever did on a baseball field is when he decided to become a cutoff man despite the fact that he was playing left field at the time.

NFL Blooper of the Year

NFL Blooper of the Year in Preseason Week 1

First year, first game; first play nerves got Pittsburgh Steelers rookie quarterback Landry Jones. The heir to the Iron Curtain was drafted by the Steelers in the 4^th round to eventually take the team over after Ben Roethlisberger. NFL expert odds have the Steelers at 20 to 1 to win the Super Bowl.

Jones was drafted from Oklahoma where he led the Sooners to double-digit wins in all of his seasons as the starting quarterback. With Jones at the helm, Oklahoma went 3-1 in bowl games including their Fiesta Bowl victory against Connecticut. Jones had great success at Oklahoma, totaling 16,646 yards and 123 touchdowns after following Sam Bradford.

This past week during NFL Preseason Week 1, Jones’ took the snap and ran into RB Baron Batch, which led to a fumble and a safety. The Steeler veterans are surely not going to let the rookie QB forgets his mistake until he wins his first NFL starts.

Steeler’s fans know that Jones wasn’t drafted to be sitting on his behind all season long. He will start the season as the #2 but as many times as Big Ben gets sacked NFL experts would say it’s a safe bet Mike Tomlin won’t hesitate to throw the rookie in late this season if and after the Steelers clinch.

Jones proved in his college career that he is an accurate passer, completing over 60 percent of his passes every season as a starter. His outstanding bowl record shows that he has the intangibles, and the ability to win the big games. He has the ability to throw the deep ball and has great football knowledge and understanding of defenses.

Jones a traditional pocket passer with not much mobility, but he has good size and is able to look over the offensive line. These physical and mental attributes are what every quarterback in the NFL needs.

Now if the Steelers can only get their running game on track.

Brek Shea Instagram Fail

"Murica giveth, and ‘Murica taketh away."
Stoke City player Brek Shea is skating on thin ice after posting this excessively patriotic picture on his instagram account. He quickly deleted it but the damage had already been done. World Sport Bloopers are betting that he doesn't last long in England. We're sure Unibet would have odds on this!  You can take Shea out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of Shea! Brek hasn't had much of an impact so far on the English Premier League. He has been out of action due to injury and even if he does come back, it'll be tough to make it into the lineup.

Shea has already been in trouble with Stoke City after pulling a prank where he wore a pig's head in the locker room. Potters’ boss Tony Pulis demanded answers from midfielder Glenn Whelan and striker Kenwyne Jones after the pranks went a little too far at the club’s Clayton Wood training ground. Whelan was accused of leaving a pig’s head among Jones’s clothes in his locker after the forward had changed for training. It turned out by be the American prankster who was behind it.

Shea had worked hard to get back into the good books of Stoke City fans but that all changed with one Instagram photo.The 23-year-old winger unintentionally jumped into the gun debate by publishing a picture of himself brandishing two shotguns. Shea's stars and stripes wife beater outfit only added to the gun-loving image that Brits, and most of the world, have of America. Shea immediately regretted posting the picture and deleted it less than an hour later, followed by a message on Twitter apologizing to "all who were offended by it."

Lewis Hamilton Turns Into Wrong Pit Lane

British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton is one of the world's best racers. But everyone's human and the Mercedes driver is no exception. Hamilton turned into the wrong pit stop at the Malaysian Grand Prix and after being waved through by another team's mechanics, he finally got in the right pit box. Hamilton's girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger looked stunned as she watched a replay and appeared to mouth "that is so bad!" Afterwards Hamilton, who finished third said: "I did a Jenson. He did that a couple of years ago,' in reference to his former team-mate who blundered in similar circumstance to Hamilton at the Chinese Grand Prix back in 2011. "I am used to driving in the McLaren pits, I don't know how I got it wrong so I apologise to my team."

Hamilton finished third at Sepang, behind a Red Bull one-two of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber, but ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg in fourth. Rosberg was quoted as saying: "Remember this one." Hamilton commented, "If I am honest Nico should be standing here, he had better pace. I was fuel-saving for a long, long time. But the guys did a great job and I brought it home. I can't say it is the best feeling being up here but racing is racing."

Worst Sports Flash Mob Ever

Borussia Dortmund lost 2-1 to Bayern Munich last Saturday in one of the most exciting Champions League Finals ever. What was confusing was that sports brand Puma decided to organize a flash mob for Dortmund at Stansted Airport before they flew back to Germany. There were no tumbleweeds but the Dortmund players could not have looked any less interested as they mourned the defeat. What was even more bizarre was that the song (Primal Scream's Movin' On Up from their classic Screamadelica album) was sung in English. A sign was held up that read "We're Proud Of You", also in English! Epic fail? We think so!

 

Watford vs Leicester Crazy Commentator

Leicester City earn a controversial penalty against Watford in the play-off semi-final in the Championship. If they score it, they go to Wembley for the final. Anthony Knockaert hits a weak spot kick, Manuel Almunia makes a great double save and Watford go on the counter attack with Troy Deeney scoring a sensational winner to send Watford to Wembley. One of the funniest things about this is the Sky Sports commentator who goes absolutely mental!!!

This is a surprising clip of a croupier who just could not hold back her sneeze. The video begins with the spinning roulette and the ball lands on a number. A second later we hear a loud sneeze and the camera switches screen to the dealer and the resulting winners. It becomes obvious who the sneezer is, you can tell from her voice. She even saw a ‘bless you’ on the teleprompter. That is when the girl starts poking fun at herself in many ways like saying even the blackjack girl in the other set must have heard her too.
