Mountain-biker Evan van der Spuy, 17, is seen here competing in a race at Albert Falls Dam in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.
Out of nowhere, he is hit by a red hartebeest buck running at full speed.
The incident was filmed by his South African team mate, Travis Walker, who you can hear warning Van der Spuy to "watch the buck". Van der Spuy went to hospital to receive treatment but did not suffer any serious injuries.
