Dutch Goalkeeper Drops Trophy From Bus

THE NETHERLANDS

Recently on World Sport Bloopers, we saw Sergio Ramos drop the Copa Del Rey. He'll be pleased to know he was not the only high profile footballer to drop a trophy off a bus.

Following Ajax being crowned as Eredivisie champions, Ajax's goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg holds the championship trophy aloft. What he fails to realise is that there are tram power lines running above the bus!

The rumour was that Stekelenburg will replace Edwin van der Sar at Manchester United but after this display of 'butter fingers', here at World Sport Bloopers, we're not so sure. The great thing about this video is the way that the fan who picks up the trophy has a chance to celebrate by holding it up and then running after the bus. Priceless!

About World Sport Bloopers

World Sport Bloopers was created following the frustration of using video sites. Many offered videos that were filed under 'funny' or 'humor' but were not specific to sport. It required a lot of searching to find what we wanted. Even when you found the video, it was often edited poorly or inserted in a news segment so it had less impact.

World Sport Bloopers is inspired by UK shows like Fantasy Football (hosted by comedians David Baddiel and Frank Skinner), the eccentric Frenchman Remi Gaillard and US shows like Jackass. We aim to bring you the best bloopers, fails and WTF moments. We hope you enjoy the site!!
